Music

On our Music courses, you’ll learn how music is created, learn about a wide range of styles, broaden and deepen your understanding of musical practices, production and performance techniques, and of course, unlock your own creativity. Our Music department is equipped with the latest industry standard software, four recording studios, rehearsal spaces and a superb 60-seater studio, where you’ll take part in performances throughout the year. You’ll also have several workshops featuring global musicians in the industry. And to build valuable industry experience, you’ll participate in external performances, including South Tyneside’s summer music events. If you want to make more noise, you can progress on to one of our Music HNCs or HNDs too.
