What is Distance Learning? 

It is similar to studying at college, but you will study in your own time, at your own pace with all resources available online alongside the support and guidance from specialist tutors.

If work or home commitments are preventing you from coming to college, our range of distance learning courses are a perfect fit to suit individual lifestyles.

What courses can I study through Distance Learning? 

Our distance learning courses cover a wide range of study topics including Counselling Skills, Business Administration, Alcohol Awareness, Understanding Autism plus many more.

With over 40 courses to choose from, the opportunities are almost endless.

What is the cost? 

Most of our distance learning courses are free for those who are eligible.

To meet the criteria, you must be:

  • 19+
  • Living in England
  • Lived in EU for 3 years or more other than for study
  • Not enrolled on an apprenticeship
  • Not completed the course previously

You will also need to upload some evidence including payslip, P60 or benefit statement as well as upload ID (birth certificate, DL or passport and payslip, P60 or benefit evidence dated within 3 months). Evidence will be destroyed after enrolment in accordance with GDPR

Following completion of the course, you will receive a recognised qualification completed within 12 weeks.

Please note: there may be a withdrawal fee of £75 if you do not complete the course within a specified time.

How does distance learning work? 

Your study will all be delivered online with the guidance and support from our specialist course tutors.

You will complete assessments and coursework all online without the need to come to college.

You will also receive a recognised qualification following completion of the course.
