The course has been designed for candidates wanting a viable entry route into the electrical industry. This qualification provides an understanding of Fundamental Principles and Environmental Technologies, Principles of Electrical Science, Fault Diagnosis and Rectification, Inspection, Testing and Commissioning and Electrical System Design.
Completion of the C&G 2365 Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures).
Assessment is by a combination of workshop practical and classroom based theory, with additional online based assessment. Within these assessments it also includes elements of health and safety.
On successful completion of the C&G 2365 Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation, learners can progress to employment, or an apprenticeship with a pathway to become a fully qualified electrician.
With some additional academic work, learners may progress to a level 4 (HNC) qualification.
