Special Guests, Performing Arts & ESOL Performance

Get ready for South Tyneside College’s Performing Arts and ESOL performance in collaboration with, ‘Hit The Ground Running Dance Theatre Company’, on Thursday the 23rd of May 6-8pm in the college’s Art Studios.

Established in 2015, the award winning, Hit The Ground Running  Dance Theatre Company inspires people with dance and physical theatre performances that challenge and question the perceptions and notions of wellbeing in the modern age. The company share real life stories and explore people’s journeys through live theatre dance performances. Their latest work, ‘Her’ explores and celebrates women’s maternal experiences and transformative journeys through emotions, challenges and triumphs. This performance is part of the research and development of the work.

Performing arts and ESOL learners have been lucky enough to take part in professional dance and physical theatre workshops with the dancers and Artistic Director of the Company. Their work has a strong emphasis on mental health and wellbeing, our learners have been  inspired by the experience.

During this event, you will get the opportunity to see live performances from our Performing Arts and ESOL students and Industry professionals.

This event is free to attend, and all family and friends are welcome.
