Level 1 Introductory Diploma in Vocational Studies (IT – Information Technology)

Overview

Learners will develop the necessary transferable and sector skills to progress more quickly.

This qualification prepares learners for progression to Level 2 BTECs or other study programmes.

*This course is available for 16-18 and 19+ learners.

  • A3 Working with Others
  • A4 Researching a Topic
  • B7 Branding a Product
  • B12 Communicating with Customers
  • IT5 Developing Digital Information Using IT
  • IT6 Using Digital Communication Technologies
  • IT8 Creating a Spreadsheet to Solve Problems
  • IT9 Creating a Website

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.

On successful completion of the BTEC Level 1 Introductory Diploma in Vocational Studies (IT – Information Technology), learners may progress to similar learning at the same or a higher level, including the Level 2 Information and Creative Technology or other Level 2 BTEC courses.

 

 

Assessment is through a portfolio and assessment work.
