Pre-Access Diploma in Health and Social Care Professions

The course is designed to provide an introduction to working in a number of sectors, whilst also
developing more generic employability skills designed to build confidence and help adults return to
education. It gives adults a good variety of knowledge, skills and behaviours which will benefit them on
the Level 3 Access to HE programme (also available at the college). It is therefore a great start for
learners who wish to progress on to the Level 3 Access Programme and who want to embark on a degree
programme.
Alongside the programme, learners will also complete Functional Skills level 2 Maths and English.
